The 2v2 Random Pairs Team Race is a perennial favorite in Newport. Boats register as individuals and are matched up randomly with team mates throughout the day on Saturday for 2v2 team racing action in the scenic Mackerel Cove off of Jamestown. Sunday teams are created from the results on Saturday for close, competitive 3v3 team racing right in the heart of Newport Harbor. Great sailing and great spectating.
Report time Saturday is 8:30, competitors' meeting 9:00 and sailing immediately after. Sail until you can't take it anymore. Saturday evening dinner/social TBD, announced at competitors' meeting.
Reprot time Sunday is 9:30. Competitors' meeting 10:00 and sailing immediately after.
