Many communications regarding Tuesday activities will go through Facebook exclusively. REGISTRATION (ONLINE ONLY) TEAMS 6/18 TBD RESULTS 6/18 TBD How It Works: 1. Racing starts at 5:30pm sharp. It is advised that competitors arrive by 4:45pm in order to rig, confirm teams and get to the race course. The Race Committee will begin races on time, and either run 2v2 races (if teams have late boats), forfeit races for incomplete teams, or possibly rearrange the rotation. IT IS CRITICAL THAT COMPETITORS CONTACT RITRA IF THEY ARE RUNNING LATE OR WILL MISS THE WEEK! EMAIL TUESDAYS@RITRA.ORG OR CALL/TEXT 401-924-3247. 2. Teams are created weekly based on rolling results from the season using a system that intends to equalize teams. The fleet may be split any given week into Gold & Silver leagues depending on number of boats and skill disparity. Individual boats gain points (1.1 for Gold; 1.0 for Silver) for wins with their team and then carry those points throughout the season. Rankings are based on cumulative points gained throughout the season. Both current rankings and teams for the week will be posted in the above links. Competitors must confirm their team assignment has not changed before rigging and leaving the dock. 3. Racing is sailed on the Digital N course. The course may combine the start line with the leeward marks and the finish line with the weather marks to reduce race management hassles. 4. All teams will use provided colored Jibs & Bibs to distinguish themselves from other teams. Teams in starting sequence will be made know by hoisting flags of color corresponding to those teams' Jibs & Bibs. The spare sail used for breakdowns or odd boats will be black and white striped. |
